Trump’s Hilarious Post Leaves Justin Trudeau in a Cold Rage

President-elect Donald Trump has once again made light of Canada, suggesting the possibility of incorporating the northern neighbor as the 51st state of the United States.

On Tuesday, Trump utilized his social media platform, Truth Social, to share maps illustrating Canada as an extension of the United States. One of the images depicted a merged map of both countries with the caption, “Oh Canada!” Another post showcased an American flag covering both nations, as reported by Fox News.

During a press conference at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, Trump continued his jesting remarks. “Canada and the United States. That would truly be something,” he stated. “They ought to be a state.”

This is not the first instance of Trump entertaining this notion. On Monday, he asserted in another Truth Social post, “Many people in Canada LOVE being the 51st State.” Trump contended that such a merger would resolve trade deficits and the subsidies that Canada allegedly depends on for its economy.

“The United States can no longer endure the significant trade deficits and subsidies that Canada requires to remain viable,” Trump wrote. He also claimed that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had resigned due to this matter.

“If Canada were to merge with the U.S., there would be no tariffs, taxes would significantly decrease, and they would be COMPLETELY SECURE from the threats posed by Russian and Chinese vessels that are perpetually surrounding them. Together, what a remarkable nation it would be!!!”

Trump’s remarks coincided with Trudeau’s announcement on Monday regarding his intention to step down as Canada’s leader once a successor is appointed. Trudeau responded on Tuesday, firmly stating that Trump’s proposal is not feasible.

“There isn’t a snowball’s chance in hell that Canada would become part of the United States,” Trudeau expressed on X, formerly known as Twitter. “Workers and communities in both our countries benefit from being each other’s largest trading and security partner.”

Trump's behavior has continued to attract attention. Recently, he disseminated a manipulated image of himself proudly positioned next to a Canadian flag on a mountain summit. Additionally, he ridiculed Prime Minister Trudeau by referring to him as "governor" and issued threats of substantial tariffs on Canadian imports.

Trump's creative proposals are not limited to Canada. The president-elect has also expressed interest in purchasing Greenland from Denmark, a concept he initially introduced during his first term. Although these remarks may appear to be made in jest, they highlight his approach of generating controversy and maintaining his presence in the news cycle.

Whether he is provoking Canada or contemplating Greenland, Trump's talent for making contentious remarks remains as pronounced as ever.
